The 3 main topics you need to focus on are:

1. Ma Vie Quotidienne (my daily life)
2. Ma Ville / Mon Quartier / Ma Region (my town / my area / my region)
3. L'Avenir (the future)

This doesn't mean that you can forget about everything else, you still need to be able to have a casual conversation with the examiner, and answer questions about yourself, your family, school life, holidays, things you like to do etc…

Just less pressure on expressing yourself about current affairs and abstract topics that's all.

'Le document' (on a topic of your choice) is still optional, but recommended:

• if you don't feel confident about holding a 12 minutes conversation.
• as it gives you the chance to prepare something that will come up for sure.

Voila,

Hope that helps!
